Dr. Tom Campbell grew up in Irving, Texas and was saved and baptized at the age of 8 at MacArthur Blvd. Baptist Church in Irving. At the age of 20, he surrendered to the ministry and graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a major in Applied Ministry and a minor in Music. He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth – first earning a Master of Divinity and later a Ph.D. with a Major in New Testament and a Minor in Preaching.
He and his wife, Sarah, have been married since 1987 and have two grown sons. Sarah and Tom met while in Jr. High at church and started dating while in college. Before they began dating, Sarah felt called to be a minister’s wife.
Tom has pastored churches in Texas and South Carolina as well as serving on staff at the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention.
He enjoys sports, traveling, hiking, music (singing, playing piano & guitar), and spending time with his family.
